From my early 30's I have suffered excruciating pain in my bones, breasts, back, head and joints which develop about 1 week before menstruation and 2 weeks after. I visited a gynie who had a look inside and advised everything was 100%. However, the pains were never explained which is why I went in the first place. Over the last 10 years, the pain racks my body almost the whole month with no relief. I try not to take pain killers but my body is in permanent spasm so I have to give in. My period is as regular as clockwork. 6 months ago I suffered a huge shock and my period stopped. I thought I'd been reborn as there was absolutely no pain whatsoever. Not a twinge. My life changed completely. Unfortunately it did not last and now they're back and the pain once again is debilitating. Other than this, I'm a healthy person and seldom have to see a doctor. Oh, I have no children and one partner for 28 years. I am 49 years old and for all my pains, I'm not prone to illnesses or flu's, colds, infections and seldom have to visit a doctor. No I have not been to another gynie since my 30's. 1, My problem was not addressed then and 2. He sexually assaulted me and as a result there is no way I can ever be examined and be that vulnerable. Why did the pains go completely when my period stopped? Thanks, Sue
