I had my uterus, a very large fibroid and my fallopian tubes removed. They left the ovaries. I felt really horrendous after the surgery. I had horrible chest and shoulder pain they say was from the gas they use to expand everything to facilitate the surgery. I also was taking iron three times a day because I almost bled out due to the fibroid prior to surgery, had to have an emergency D&C and a blood transfusion after lying in a pool of my own blood. I also suffer from panic attacks and have been having a hard time controlling them. I don't know if the chest and shoulder pain is anxiety related or something else. They can't seem to explain it to me. It is my right chest and shoulder and is worse in the evening following dinner.
