so here's the deal.
i took plan b about two months ago after a condom slippage. i did receive some bleeding about two weeks later, lasted four days, about the normal length of a normal period for me, wasn't sure whether to count that as my period or not. anyways, fast forward to today. i haven't had another period for about 45 days now.
*sigh*
I have taken many home pregnancy tests, first morning urine, etc. different brands of tests, first response, generic. i did want to go to a clinic and request a blood pregnancy test just to put my mind finally at ease, but all the clinics i called only let me take urine tests and said i would have to wait more weeks to even get a blood test, after i tested negative on at least two to three tests spaced a week apart. so more of this waiting game we go.
i just want some relieve, peace, an assurance, that hey plan b screwed with your system, you're not pregnant, etc. so where i'm at now is about two months since taking plan b, i had bleeding for 4 days two weeks after plan b was taken. now NO second period, nothing at all. now two weeks late, and i did actually go to a clinic and THEY did a urine test, tested negative.
all they told me was to come back for more urine testing. they also scared me telling me well you could have an ectopic pregnancy, which i know what that is, but would a urine test pick that up? not the fact that it's ectopic BUT that i was indeed pregnant.
sorry for this long, stressed out story. i'm just so alone, help would be appreciated and these clinics around here seem so reluctant to just give me a damn blood test. i already told them i have taken a million urine tests, why can't they just give me what i need?
the woes of having no insurance. :(
