I'm moving to Europe soon so I need to change the time I take my birth control pills. I was normally taking it at 6 am every night. I decided I needed to change it to 5 pm right now, before I move, so it would fit my new schedule. To avoid missing a pill, I took my usual 6am morning one day, then took a second one that same day at 5pm. After that, I kept taking the pills at 5pm every day.
Then, on the following week, I actually couldn't remember if I took the pill at 5pm or not, so at around 6pm, I took another one. I'm not sure whether I ended up doubling up or not that day.
So, all in all, there's a chance I took two pills more than I should've this month. This wouldn't normally concern me, except that I'm now having breast tenderness, which I never do. Would doubling up on the pill mess up my period? I'm guessing I'm at no risk of pregnancy, since I haven't missed any pills, but the feeling is weird. Is it just due to the double pills?
