I really messed up my cycle this month. I started a new birth control pill pack 2 days late, took the pill for the following 2 days, then missed the next 5 days and had unprotected sex. I haven't taken anymore pills this month. Two days after sex, I started bleeding heavily. This lasted for 1 day and then lightened up and went away on the 3rd day. I am happily married, so pregnancy wouldn't be the end of the world. I'm just wondering if there is a high chance of pregnancy even with the breakthrough bleeding, and if so, when should I take a pregnancy test to find out?
