Hello. I'm a pretty healthy 27 going on 28 year old. I have been wondering if I have heart issues for a while. I don't have health insurance. I went to the ER the very beginning of May because I felt lightheaded like I was about to pass out and I had a heart rate in the 160's. At first I went to urgent care and they did and EKG and said that aside from a fast heart rate it looked normal but they didn't want to rule out a heart attack and sent me to the ER. The ER did blood work, chest x-ray, EKG, and a CT scan on my lungs to rule out blood clot. Everything came back normal and they chalked it up to anxiety and slight dehydration. I haven't had any more spells like this and I do suffer from anxiety but I do have shoulder pain that shoots down my arms sometimes and slight chest pains sometimes but I always think it is muscles. My parents don't have any serious heart problems but my dad suffers from super ventricular tachycardia. I don't smoke either, but I'm not the most active person either. Like I said, I don't have health insurance but I really want to get checked out. Do you think that I may have heart problems or is it just me being paranoid? How can I get checked out without insurance?
