So, here's the problem.... I missed my January period and I took a HPT (home pregnancy test) and it came back negative. In my past, at the beginning, I had irregular periods but I've been regular for a few years now. I've been with my boyfriend for over a year and we have unprotected sex, I'm well aware of the possibilities of getting pregnant and I'm ok with that. But back to the problem... February is here and I'm supposed to have my period right now and I'm 3 days late and now I have a brown discharge when I wipe and a little blood in my jeans but no blood when I wiped. What is going on? We have sex once a month and usually when I'm not supposed to be ovulating. Last time we had sex was Monday night/early Tuesday morning, we don't get to bed until 4 in the morning, and today is Wednesday.
