Right now, I am going on about a week of suffering symptoms of vertigo. Last Friday was the absolute worst. I had the flu before but knew that that wasn't what I was feeling. Could it be allergies? I have them and take a once daily pill to manage that. My face wasn't hurting like it sometimes does with allergies, but the room spinning around me was very clear.
So, after much rest during the weekend, I went to the doctor that Monday to find that not only did the patient next door to me have dizzying symptoms, but apparently the doc was out the week prior for the same thing. Even after WebMD'ing myself through the conversation throwing every dart possible saying which symptoms I experienced and those I did not, he was convinced it was vertigo. So, home I went and on another anti-histamine to add to my already daily dose.
He said that this has been the worst allergy season on the East Coast, so it's possible that it's related to the extreme seasonal changes.
It's now been over a week, and while I am starting to feel a bit better, I still don't like to get behind the wheel and still need a wall to help me out every so often.
Hearing that so many people have been experiencing this is a relief and worrisome at the same time. Just wanting others to get that what I am experiencing is real helps. I just want this dizzy symptoms to go away for good and for it to never come back.
