My Father-In-Law age 89 broke his pelvic bone 6 weeks ago when he fell against a bathtub. He waqs too badly damaged to do surgery so he just has to heal. He also tore muscles and tendons. The Orthopetist told us 6 to 8 weeks recovery for the bone and another two months for the muscles and tendons. He has been having home physical therapy 2 to 3 times a week for 5 weeks now. We did not want him to drive until he is checked by the Orthopedist in 1 1/2 weeks. Well , we just found out he drove the other day. I am quite concerned that he has not recovered enough and could cause a setback in his recovery. What is your opinion?
