On November 11, I ovulated. I always get ovulation pain and thick CM. November 12 my husband and I had a condom mishap where it slipped off...we think alittle bit of semen entered but not 100% sure. I sent him to CVS and one hour later took Plan B. After doing some reading I panicked because it appears Plan B is ineffective if u already ovulated, so Monday morning, 2 days after the mishap I marched to the Gyno and had a copper iud inserted.
My actual period was not due to start until November 25, but on November 20, 8 days after Plan B I began bleeding and it was very heavy for 8 days. At this point I thought I was in the clear because the bleeding was so heavy and lasted so long...but now it's about a week and half since it ended and I have been feeling very sick. Backache, headaches, no appetite, slightly sore boobs....so I am wondering if after all that, there is still a chance I am pregnant. I am 43 and freaking out!
