I am on birth control and have period every second week

I started birth control about 5 month ago, i use the implant.
At first i did not get my period for a straight 2 months. Now i get my period every every second week and its very light and the period paid are too much. the way they are so light i don't even wear a pad but use a panty liner.
Is there something wrong with me?please help.
