I'm not getting my periods for already two months. Why could it be 9

I'm a fat girl and my period cycle is very irregular sometimes. And sometimes it's like normal also. But I'm sure it's because of my fats and I'm always so stressed. The question is should I concern a doctor? Could it turn out to be a serious disease?
