Hi. I'd love some answers on this topic, as I'm in a bit of a situation right now or at least I think I am. I've been on the pill (Trinessa combination pill) for nearly a year now, and I've always taken it perfectly at 4:00 PM. I've never missed a pill, never took one late. Daylight savings time came around in the beginning of last month, and it wouldn't have been a huge deal if I hadn't have already taken my first active pill the day before daylight savings occurred. I continued to rely on my alarm on my phone, that automatically adjusted to the spring forward time. Basically, 20/21 of my pills have been taken at 3:00 PM in reality because of daylight savings. My first pill of the pack was taken at actually 4:00 PM. My period is due tomorrow and I'm freaking out. I am sexually active and every time we have sex we use a condom, there are random heat of the moment times where we'll go without for a minute or two, but he's never came inside of me. For those moments, I rely on my pill and I'm wondering if it's even effective at this point. Did I make a mistake?
