My boyfriend and I had sex on the 20th of April with a condom on. My period usually works like clockwork, and it should have showed up on either the 29th or the 30th. However, on the 25th I did have some spotting. It started off with cramps like normal except it never became super heavy. On the 25th I inserted a tampon and it was a dark brownish, but it never was enough to exit my vagina. It was only on the tampon inside. and then as the days passed it became more red. On the 26th and 27th I had enough blood to where I had to wear a panty liner. And since then the color has been darkening and today it is ending and is a light brown. The color or my bleeding seemed to match my regular period only that it never became heavy. Is this just a light period?
I took a pregnancy test this morning and got a negative result. I know I may be testing early but I have friends who have received early positives. And will continue to test in a few days. I don't have any symptoms, but I'm worried I could be making myself miss my period due to me stressing over the fact that I haven't gotten my period. Please help
