I started to get worried because I was 5 days late and my cycle hasn't changed in about two years. On the 5th day around 7am I got my period and it started off a dark reddish/brown. Friday morning it was gone when I woke up. It ended up being a very heavy period and I had severe cramps, as usual. Before I got that short period I have all the pregnancy symptoms which are very similar to menstrual symptoms. But like I said, i've never had such a short period like this before. It's been two weeks since it ended and i've yet to take a pregnancy test because i feel like i'm just over thinking it but i'm starting to think I should because of the gut feeling i have. To add, i'm not ready for a baby. I'm going into the Army in about two months and this would hold me back from my career. As a baby is a blessing, i'm just not ready. Would love feedback to know if this has happened to anyone else!
