Occasional vertigo.... I get vertigo about every three weeks for four to six hours... Is this serious???

I had a heart attack about three years ago... And now in last several months have been getting vertigo....I had double bipass back then.... Now I'm wondering if arteries are clogging up again or veins going up to brain or something like that.... Could I be headed for stroke??.
