I don't want to seem ridiculous or crazy, but I want to know if this is normal or anyone else has experienced this. I had sex a month ago, I've been sterilized with essure for over a decade and I took Take Action within 7 hours just to be extra safe. I got my period within the normal time frame, but it was shorter than usual (and I know the ECP can cause that) but I still have this fear of an ectopic pregnancy. I've taken 9 HPT and all negative, had 3 ER visits (all urine tests came back negative) plus I had a vaginal and abdominal ultrasound 3 weeks after the incident. I then had a CAT Scan a week later on my pelvis and abdomen and they said all is good and normal. But even with all this proof, I still fear pregnancy. I know I'm not, but why do I have this fear? Is it normal? The doctors said it would have shown up in the US and CAT Scan but I cannot seem to let this go. I'm even imagining symptoms!s like sore breasts (not swollen or anything) but I'm midcycle and my period will be due within the next week or two. Can anyone relate to this?
