I'm sharing this with you because Codex is of great concern. On the videos, Dr. Laibow discusses the Codex advertising standard which, if passed, will:
• restrict truthful commercial speech
• restrict 3rd party reporting
• violate the right of the public to the truth
This means that your ND, MD, Nutritional Counselor, Personal Trainer or ANYONE else will be able to legally answer your questions about the benefits of foodstuffs. For instance, "Are blueberries high in antioxidants?" sounds like a reasonable question, right? It will be a CRIMINAL offense for your practitioner to answer your simple inquiry if this bill is passed.
Your foodstuffs will be all genetically modified, chemically processed and government controlled. Codex may sound good in theory, especially to countries where food is scarce. But it is yet another thinly veiled attempt to take away freedoms from the agricultural communities and YOU, the consumer. It will also restrict Health Professionals from doing what they do best---take care of YOU! If this isn't bad enough news--especially in today's economy--your food prices will skyrocket and the quality of your food will be lowered because the nutritional value will be diminished by chemicals and the genetic altering process. And forget about growing tomatoes and such in your own garden, too! Imagine getting busted for zucchini?
I realize that this all sounds too hard to believe---like a really bad sci-fi movie---but it's real and the first step is already happening in Europe. I know it sounds scary...IT IS!! By nature, I am not political. I couldn't be further from an activist. I'm actually very easy going and a lot of fun to be around. I probably haven't come across that way on my postings. Please forgive my inexperience as an activist. I'm on a mission to get the word out on a very serious matter. I'm a lot better at the 'fun' stuff, so please don't let my newly acquired activist communication shortcomings put you off. Have you ever learned about something that was so unjust and so wrong for so many that you felt you had to get involved and help? Well, Codex has become enough of a concern for me that I have become very active in educating the public about their rights and the ramifications that the passing of Codex will pose to all of us all over the world. It's not fun. It's not lighthearted. But it is what it is....reality, cold and hard.
Please become informed about Codex. Do not be passive and think that 'someone else' will take care of things for you. They won't. Please help yourself and your family. Our country is rapidly changing - and not necessarily for the better. Many of us are not informed as this is not reported during your nightly news broadcast. Do you know about the NAU? You need to! It's the North American Union--Canada, USA and Mexico will become one nation. That's right. It's already in the works.
