Top Ten Ways to Have a Sexy Holiday

We all want to have a jolly holiday, or a wonderful holiday, or even a peaceful holiday season. How many of us really wants or tries to actually have a sexy holiday? Especially with family, outfits and excessive amounts of food, the thought of being or feeling really sexy can fly out the window along with your will power and your auntie's fruitcake.

Here are ten ways to have a sexy holiday, even if there are four different types of pie in the offering (and your Uncle Stew’s getting loaded and trying to jig).

1 - Wear something fabulous. No, I didn't say expensive. I also didn't say petite. Just something fabulous - that is, that makes YOU feel fabulous; whether it's that black velvet dress you usually only wear out dancing or the heels you just got from your girlfriend for Christmas. Or that necklace you just found in your grandmother's old jewelry box – just please don it, enjoy it, wriggle around in it and admire yourself in it. An entire outfit doesn't have to be fabulous but even those awesome leggings and new shade of nail polish can do the trick. Meow!

2 - Eat something decadent and enjoy every single solitary bite. This is not a typo. I know, I know, you'll be surrounded by decadent food and drink and all manner of home baked goodies. The problem is, while you're eating most of them you'll be feeling strange and/or partly guilty about it. Step two is not about guilt or weird feelings, it is about LUST for LIFE and delicious sensuality, and, therefore, very sexy.

3 - Dance. Holiday parties aside, even if it's just for yourself or at a club, spend time with yourself, your friends, or your significant other and do it; slow dance, rocking out, or booty shaking, it's all good, sexy fun.

4 - Kiss someone under some mistletoe. If you don't have a date, grab your friend and make it friendly. A peck can be platonic but it is still a little something sexy, can get your lighter-hearted self smiling, and may lead to other kisses, too, with someone, hopefully, that you would like to kiss.

5 - Take a long, refreshing walk right in the middle of holiday festivities. It'll get your endorphins pumping, your heart racing and your mind off of whatever family issues may be hiding in the ham. It'll bring you back to your senses and bring your mood around to hotter things.

6 - Get a pedicure. The feet are the doorways to the soul, or something like that. Without question, the more relaxed your feet and legs are, the sexier you will feel.

7 - In this vein, wear very silky, very sultry hose. You can find them for not very much money if you don't already own them, and no matter what else you are wearing, just running your hand up and down your own leg can be quite a delightful experience.

8 - Get more sleep than you think you need. A tired holiday woman is a cranky holiday woman, even if she's the life of the party. Go ahead and take that nap. Perhaps someone wants to join you?

9 - Keep hydrated. We all tend to overdo it at the holidays, and, even if you're not indulging in alcohol, chances are you're indulging in more carbs and sodium than you normally would. It's easy to get dehydrated, which can also lead to headaches and nausea. We all know headaches and nausea are not sexy, do we not?

10 - Finally, let your hair down! If you have long hair, I am totally serious, wear it loose. If you have short hair, don't fuss with it - just wash and wear, bring your fingers through it, enjoy it! Most of all, have a ball!
