Mrs. Goldstein serves as program coordinator for San Diego Sexual Medicine, where she coordinates with the Sexual Medicine program at Alvarado Hospital and the University of California at San Diego.

Sue Goldstein:
Hi, I am Sue Goldstein. I am Program Coordinator for San Diego Sexual Medicine. What this means is that I get to work with physicians and patients and other professionals to coordinate educational programs and to work with Dr. Goldstein in meeting and working with others, very much like an academic secretary. But I also have the privilege of developing new ideas, new programs, and new grants to help provide more education, again, for patients and for providers.

Before I came here to San Diego I was lucky to work with my best friend and write a book called When Sex Isn’t Good. We felt as patients that there was not enough information out there for women to provide them at a level that they could understand with enough knowledge to empower them as patients so when they went to their physicians with their sexual health problems, they would not be told, " Leave your kids with your mother, go away for the weekend, relax, sex will be great." Because we knew that was not the only answer, and we felt the need to write the book. So not only I am Program Coordinator here at San Diego Sexual Medicine, but I am proud to say I am co-author of this book.
