Yes, as with any vaccine there are actual local side effects such as redness at the site of injection, pain in the arm, fever right afterwards. What they’re finding though were some longer term side effects such as some chronic diseases and in some women even potential death. So, it’s something to really be educated about before you yourself get vaccinated or you have your daughter vaccinated.
