It is reported that 4 million Americans and 65 people worldwide have a condition known as glaucoma, a group of diseases that affect the eye and results in a gradual loss of vision. Glaucoma is the second leading cause of blindness.

Causes of Glaucoma
According to the Mayo Clinic, abnormally high pressure inside your eye, or intraocular pressure, is usually what causes the damage to the optic nerve, causing vision loss (glaucoma).

Hybrid cars run significantly quieter than gasoline engine cars, causing concern for the visually impaired who listen for sounds to guide their steps around traffic. So, when the approaching vehicle cannot be heard, it poses a danger to the pedestrian, even one with good vision.

I would just like to talk to people who are trying to obtain a healthier lifestyle. I am starting to exercise for the FIRST time in my life and it something I am passionaltly seeking. I want to be able to keep up the motivation and do anything I can to help myself inside and out!
