(HealthDay News) -- Having asthma doesn't necessarily mean an unhealthy pregnancy. The key is to control symptoms and prevent attacks.
The University of Virginia Medical Center offers these suggestions for asthmatic women who are pregnant:
* Avoid anything that triggers asthma symptoms, such as tobacco smoke or pet dander.
* As prescribed by your doctor, keep taking your asthma medications throughout your pregnancy.
* Keep exercise moderate. If you have exercise-induced asthma, use your asthma medication. Check with your doctor before starting an exercise regimen.

Lately, the issue of infertility has bubbled up on my radar the past few weeks (for me) with a relative undergoing IVF, one of the women on the boards asking about how to get the procedure covered through insurance and The Today Show featuring a segment on infertility and alternative medicine just this morning.
According to the National Institutes of Health Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine, Chinese medicine in the form of acupuncture shows promise in improving the rates of pregnancy following IVF.

You would think that the controversy surrounding vaccinations and their alleged link to autism would have parents retreating from immunizations.
Not so says the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention which claims toddlers received the recommended vaccinations at record levels in 2007.
A record 77.4 percent of children in this age group received the full recommended series of vaccinations, the centers said.
The one exception was the four doses of diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis or whooping cough vaccine, received by 84.5 percent of toddlers, the centers said.

(HealthDay News) -- Your baby needs his or her own place to take a bath. Tubs made for adults are simply too big and lack safety features for infants.
Use these guidelines, provided by the Nemours Foundation, to help select the safest tub for your baby:
* Look for tubs with a backing on the bottom, so it won't slip or move.
* Choose a tub that is made with thick, sturdy plastic. Make sure it can easily support the weight of your baby and the bathing water.

Today me and my boyfriend of 10 months were getting more intimate than we have ever before and we both had clothes on, except his penis was outside of his pants and boxers. during our intimacy he ejaculated and his seman and everything spread over my hands and my pants and some soaked through my pants and was on my panty. i was wearing all my clothing and there was absolutely no penetration. I am just a bit worried that is there any way that i can be pregnant?
