Deamonte Driver died when an infected tooth lead to a brain infection. His dental problems had not been addressed because his bother had so many rotted teeth that his mother was concentrating on getting those issues fixed.
The children had lost their Medicaid and his mother did not have the money to have his tooth removed, nor the dentists willing to treat him.

A few years ago, my older brother and my Mom accompanied me as I had my wisdom teeth removed. I was lucky enough to have a doctor that cared about my feelings and answered my concerns. She was able to give me dissolvable stitches so I wouldn't have to come back to have them removed. The surgery went ok.

When I was coming out of the anesthesia, I got up too quickly and the nurse seemed to force me down. I didn't realize that I'd have "jello" legs. A few minutes later, the nurse helped me into the wheelchair and again in order to get me into the car.

After a serious of bad choices and some dumb mistakes i lost my job and couldn't afford my monthly trips to the orthodontist, (never choose Western Dental) if you don't pay they won't see you... So after a few months my gums were bleeding and my teeth were shifting and I was in tremendous pain.. A friend suggested hydrogen peroxide and after I tried it. it worked wonderfully and my teeth stopped bleeding after a few days. I heard from some people it even helps whitten your teeth. I can't tell with all this metal but I know my teeth are not bleeding and I feel so much better...

East meets West in this extraordinary guide to natural healing by a prominent doctor of Chinese medicine and the author of Secrets of Longevity.

Dr. Mao's philosophy is simple: We all have a built-in healing ability, so why not try to activate it with natural means before we resort to drugs and invasive procedures? For the common cold, why not exploit the power of garlic, ginger, and the herb astragalus instead of taking cold medicine that simply replaces symptoms with side effects?
