Choose the Right Product

Select a sunscreen labeled “broad-spectrum” for protection against both UVA and UVB rays. Choose a product with an SPF of at least 15, or 30+ for children. Avoid a product containing PABA if you have skin allergies.

People with sensitive skin should choose sunscreen with the active ingredient titanium dioxide, which is a chemical-free blocking agent. A water-proof sunscreen is a good choice for protection while swimming, and some products are also sweat- and rub-proof.
