Well, I think the best thing to do when you have a sunburn is to put a lot of aloe on. That has definitely helped me the most. It helps both with the pain and the process of increasing your recovery time, and if you are in a lot of pain it helps, I think, the most to use cold compresses and to take cool showers. I think it relaxes and calms the skin, and it may put you in a position where you feel better even if you look really red and gross.
