I'm Corinne, a Master's prepared certified hospice and palliative nurse who works on an oncology unit in San Diego, CA. I've had my share of health issues. Most recently, I was faced with the prospect of open heart surgery due to congenital heart abnormalities - however, it has been determined by my team that this is not a necessary step at the moment and might be corrected through a more minor procedure.
