Diagnosed with urethral diverticulum in 2011. Decided to forgo surgery and take a wait and see approach. I neglected follow-ups since I had not bothersome symptoms until the last 2 weeks. I believe having surgery maybe be my only option at this point but will not more once I meet with my urologist next week. I'm very worried that I may turn out to be those rare cases of diverticulum hiding cancer. I guess you can say I'm a hypochondriac! I'm looking for support and encouragement and your experiences with surgery and post-recovery. I will appreciate it so much!!
