I had a hospital birth, I regretted the choices I made for that birth.
I found the movie, The Business of Being Born. This opened my eyes to the possibilities for birth. I made a plan for my next birth: no hospitals without necessity. I found a birth center. I had a water birth and it was awesome.
Soon after my birth I decided to become a doula. I trained as a doula, went back to my birth center for experience, and now I want to be a midwife.
