I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in April, 2008. Since that time, it seems my life has been a whirlwind. I've been treated by three different neurologists during this time period. My first doctor treated me for ~ a year, and began the drug treatment of weekly injections of Rebif. After ~ a year I began to have negative side effects of this treatment. This physician left the medical practice for 'political reasons' and then my medical care was transferred to another neurologist who had come out of retirement. This physician stopped my drug therapy treatment for ~ 6 months, and then he suddenly passed away due to a heart attack. Such a tragedy!!!

I was withoug a 'treating physician' for ~ another 6 months, and then located a well-known neurologist in another city. He has been treating my condition for ~ 11 months with another drug therapy, Copaxone daily injections. With MS, I'm also experiencing depression that is really causing me issues. My other symptoms are severe, constant headaches, fatigue, and now beginning to have issues with my memory, concentration, etc. Is it MS... Is it Depression... How can I find someone who understands and can help???
