Imme

My story. Well, I am still in college, so I'm not sure really what my story is yet. I feel like it is still being written. I am a sociology major and have been reading a lot about empowering women and feminism.

While I am not a feminist, I have come to realize what a balanced life I have had. Both my parents worked and they both were in charge of the cooking and cleaning and child care. I am amazed to hear from people in my classes who believe in men's and women's roles still. I feel like that is so outdated. If you like to cook, cook, if you want to stay home with your children do it! It shouldn't matter what gender you are.

Sometimes I am not exactly sure what I believe but I think that is okay at this point in my life. Like my name says, I'm me [imme].
