My story is a fun one! I always thought I was decently healthy (I was in the military, worked at a gym), until I had children. Even with my daily walking, I felt like I still needed more. More me time, more strength, more energy, more self-esteem. After the birth of my second child, I began running. I did the couch-to-5k, and I went beyond it and registered for an 8k. That race gave me a passion for running. I've since gone on to do many half marathons, and I'm about to do my first full! I also plan on becoming a personal trainer, and hopefully a triathlete in the future. The sky is the limit (and maybe I'll climb up there someday....)
