Stefany Scovell

In 2005, shortly after the death of my mother, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. At a time when I should have been helping my father, I was dealing with a terrifying diagnosis and the realization that my life was forever changed. I have since had to have a pacemaker implanted and a hysterectomy. MS continues to ravage my body, making it almost impossible to plan anything (meetings, fun outings, family time, etc). I now spend my days confined to my bed, in my bedroom and unable to do any cooking or cleaning. I rely on a wheelchair or electric scooter when I leave my home.
