This is a Positive Behaviour Support service for families who are looking for help to reduce their child’s challenging behaviour. We start by getting you (and teachers etc) to collect info via an ABC behaviour diary to see what events are surrounding the behaviour. From there we come out to you – we do an observation where the behaviour is occurring (either in your home, in school or in the community).
These sessions typically last 2 hours at a time, with an ultimate aim of providing parents with strategies to effectively reduce behaviour. These sessions typically last 6 to 8 weeks depending on severity and number of behaviours.
