I am 43 with 2 children. One is 22, the other is 6. I developed fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue after I had my 6 year-old. I also have endometriosis (diagnosed before my son), and take continuous birth control for that. I have ulcerative colitis. I have also developed TMJ as a result of the fibro. I am unable to work, but am lucky that my husband is a teacher and so we have fairly decent health insurance. My daughter has Asperger's, OCD, social anxiety (sometimes severe) and depression. We feel very lucky that our son does not have autism, but he does have severe ADHD, anxiety, and OCD, all of which affect his school and social life. I love my children and am so proud of them.
