At the age of 29 I lost a kidney to cancer. Five years later I ended up in the emergency room with my first of 3 Intestinal obstructions caused by scar tissue from my Nephrectomy.
In 2012 my last obstruction, 42 days in the hospital recovering! I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease. Staying positive can be a challenge some days!
