When in my late 20's I was diagnosis with breast cancer. I was also enrolled in college doing multiple majors in health sciences and holistic studies. It was here where I made the decision to approach my recovery after surgery to seek out alternative or complementary medicines. I was a vegan, did yoga but my stress was way too high so I pulled back from over stimulation and involved myself in things, people and places that would make me happy and healthy.
