Hanan Kamal Eldahry
Hanan is well-versed in the unique challenges of writing and reporting for television news. Currently Hanan is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Western Ontario's Media Information and Technoculture department. Before working in the London area, she was a reporter for News 12 New Jersey. Prior to that she reported for Bay News 9 in Florida's Tampa Bay area. She also anchored and reported for Cable 6 News in upstate New York. Long Island News Tonight was where she started her journalism career. Among the highlights of her career have been interviewing soon to be U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and covering Florida hurricanes Charley, Francis and Ivan. She's also appeared on CNN for her coverage of the abduction and murder of nine-year-old Jessica Lunsford.
Hanan holds a Master of Arts degree in media and communications-electronic journalism from the New York Institute of Technology, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York at Old Westbury.
