I was a surgical nurse for over 30 years. I'm retired from surgical nursing and now am an author of short stories, based on fact about my surgical and life experiences.

My goal is to teach people how to take responsibility for their own health and healing along with their healthcare provider. Most patients never question doctors and give away their power by being passive with their healthcare decision.
