I am a Licensed Clincial Social Worker, an Adoption Therapist at The Cradle, and the Clinical Director for AdoptionLearningPartners.org (on online educational website for adoption).
As an Adoption Therapist, I work with children, adults, and families facing the added complexity adoption can bring. As Clinical Director of Adoption Learning Partners, I work with the team to create online training targeting prospective adoptive parents as well as families who have already adopted. I present at local and national conferences, and serve on the advisory board of Adoptive Families Magazine.
My husband and I are adoptive parents of two, now-grown, trans-racially placed children-one with special needs- and are now co-parenting two lovely granddaughters.
