I was diagnosed with invasive lobular breast cancer on November 1,2010. I was told it was really small and manageable with a lumpectomy. The first one was not successful so two weeks later my surgeon went back in. At my follow up appointment the pathology showed that the cancer was throughout my right breast and my surgeon strongly recommended a double mastectomy. It is scheduled for January 10, 2011.
