Melinda’s mission is to inspire and share her story of finding and creating love, respect & healing with a deep grace that is pleasing to God.

Melinda Bernstein is a native Floridian who became a Rabbi on Mothers Day 2009 just as her two children were headed off to college. Melinda learned Hebrew by attending an Orthodox Synagogue while raising her children in the Orthodox way. It was beautiful until the marriage fell apart, and so did Melinda's heart and soul.

Melinda was ordained by All People's Synagogue Spiritual Director Rabbi Loring Frank through his Florida Academy Institute of Religion. "I chose to become a Rabbi to heal and help others heal the holes in their hearts, minds and open to their souls fullest expression. Melinda serves as a funeral and wedding officiant and also offers baby naming ceremonies, unveilings and vow renewals.

Being raised in the Reform tradition, left Melinda yearning for a deeper connection to God. After marrying and having two children and still yearning, Hurricane Andrew destroyed her family home in 1992. Melinda took it as a sign from God and raised two children in marriage in the Orthodox tradition. “It was my salvation in an unhealthy marriage”. The experience gave Melinda a deeper connection to God, yet the marital problems caused her body to suffer greatly. “I remember the time I was in a wheelchair, crying and deep sighing asking God to heal our family PLEASE!” Well he heard Melinda yet again and...

“After I divorced in 2005, it would take all Melinda’s focus to mend her relationship to God and embrace a humble and grace fueled.

Melinda is a native Floridian and accomplished International Speaker, who used her Ordination wisely. She brought awareness about love and healing sexual wounds to the International Medical Conference in Jerusalem in 2010 as she felt her story was relevant to many others.
