I am a 53 year old woman...artist...wife...mother...daughter...sister...aunt...reducer...reuser...recycler...composter...animal welfare activist...foster parent for the local shelter...and proud companion to 12 cats. I am Manic Depressive (bi-polar disorder), diabetic and apparently suffer from Chronic Ideopathic Urticaria and possibly VCD, although diagnosis is not certain yet. I live in a small village, just north of a small city, in a house built in 1857-1860, which has been under renovation for 9 months and counting. I have a loving and supportive family...and I know how lucky I am for this...I love our little blue planet and most of the creatures on it (except spiders and centipedes...and maybe other insects I haven't come across yet))...I love sunrise and sunset...trees...flowers...thunderstorms...tornados...lots of weather. I have had self-esteem issues all my life and have been very overweight for much of it...I have just lost a lot of it through being sick...not the best way to do it..but I am hoping it will have a positive effect on my diabetes. I joined this website to find information...and I am glad I did.
