While I have jokingly have been called idealistic and over-happy by pessimists (who think they are realists), I believe we all have a choice in life and I choose HAPPY. I don’t believe we should postpone joy for down the road or after we have achieved this or that, but to create, plan and live your joy daily. It’s my mission to inspire others to find happiness, have more fun, feel more fulfilled and reap all the benefits that come from living a positive life.
It’s no coincidence that I worked as the national columns editor for SUCCESS magazine, for three years because I always have had a passion for personal development. At SUCCESS I wrote regular sections of the magazine and features, lined up columnists, and interviewed best-selling authors, experts and celebrities. Some of my high-profile interviews included Gary Sinise, Robin Roberts, Martha Beck, Ken Blanchard, Chris Freytag, John Assaraf and Dr. Sanjay Gupta. Prior to my time at SUCCESS, I worked as a national health care editor for eight years. I am passionate about words and how they can change your life!
Today I own The Media Concierge, a company devoted to creating and managing personal development content (health and well-being, wealth, relationships, leadership, giving back and entrepreneurship) in the social media world. I work with authors, speakers, publishers and public relations firms to create and repurpose content—books, blogs, articles, speeches tweets, Facebook posts and other marketing pieces. My work has been published in SUCCESS, Meeting Professionals International, Walden, Kendall, ON, Executive Travel, Home Health Products, Continuing Care and Mobility Management as well as several other publications and Websites.
