PMS, peri-menopause, adrenal fatigue, and stress are part of my current health challenges. The past few years, I have systematically moved away from the standard American Diet (SAD) and traditional Western Medical Model, both which were leading me down a path I knew would lead to chronic issues later in life if I didn't make changes. I've cleaned up my diet, got off birth control pills (which I was on 20+ years for "hormone balance"), and tried to better manage stress. It's a journey, but I am on such a better path going the way of preventative healthcare and wellness.
