Lailla Shares How She Found A Doctor To Perform Uterine Artery Embolization (VIDEO)

I called hospitals to see whether that they have a program because mind you, I worked for a company before that creates programs for the hospital to increase their revenue. And when this happened to me and I had the procedure done, I said, you know what, I got to go and create one procedure, this procedure, this program for the hospital, because how I started, I searched around, I called every hospital just to find whether or not they do this procedure, and every radiology department that I called, don’t know anything about it. They haven’t heard of it, which is so unusual, and I figured there must be like a hospital, you know.

So I searched around and I called several radiologists and finally bumped into one that does this procedure, familiar with this procedure, had done a few of these procedures and that’s, you know, I met up with them and he said, “Bring your records. I’d like to see it,” and so I did and that, you know, that’s how it began.
