Dr. Navarro introduces himself and describes varicose veins.
I am Luis Navarro, Founder and Director of The Vein Treatment Center here in Manhattan. By training, I am a general surgeon, but early in my career I dedicated myself to the treatment of varicose and spider veins exclusively, so therefore the last 30 to 35 years I have been just treating varicose veins and spider veins.
Varicose veins are these ropy, torturous veins that you see on the skin of many women, certainly women of middle age, and usually greenish or bluish in color.
