She used to be just another familiar face at the gym. But after a year of taking weekly Zumba classes together, she has become a friend and an inspiration. Tia is a mother of two that faces challenges, like many women, to live a fit and healthy lifestyle.

In one year, she has accomplished losing 68 pounds! She is a real woman with a real weight loss success story.

Her youngest child was about a year and a half when she decided to join Weight Watchers. “It was the thing that had worked for me in the past. Before losing the first 25 pounds, I was too self-conscious to go to the gym.”

She worked on portion control. She became aware of her portion sizes, trained her body to eat the right amount, and perfected her nutritional intake. She replaced the ice cream and desserts that she loved with low-fat substitutes like frozen yogurt and sweet protein bars.

The changes in her diet paid off. After losing 25 pounds, she began to work on a weekly fitness routine.

Feeling lighter on her feet, she proudly walked through the large glass gym doors several times a week. She added one hour of cardio exercise three times a week, and a yoga class two times a week.

Again, the lifestyle changes she was making were visible on the outside. She had more energy. She felt good. She had lost 40 pounds.

Then she hit a plateau.

She continued her weekly fitness schedule and her well-balanced diet. But for several weeks, the scale stayed the same. After the success she was having, the plateau was frustrating.

“I started to believe that I would not lose anymore. That this was the weight that I was supposed to be. It was one more challenge that I would have to overcome.”

The usual smiling, energetic Tia walked slowly into the gym one morning looking quite the opposite. As he swiped her membership card, an employee noticed the change in her demeanor. He questioned her and she confided that she was stuck at a point where she wasn’t losing weight and it was bringing her motivation down.

He suggested that she add strength training to her weekly routine. She began taking muscle classes twice a week.

Around this time, she spoke with her sister who lived out of state. She was coming for a visit in two months. She hadn’t seen her sister in nearly a year. Her local friends were her support in her weight loss but she hadn’t told her family that she was trying to lose weight.

“In the beginning, I was trying to avoid that accountability. If everyone knew, everyone would be watching me. I needed to know that I was doing it for myself. It was enough pressure to not let myself down.”

Her sister’s upcoming trip was just the push she needed to get her over her plateau. She added the new strength training classes. She continued with her healthy diet.

She worked on building muscle. She continued the reps even when her muscles burned. She pushed through every grimace with the intention of becoming stronger.

She became healthier, stronger, and leaner. Her Christmas gift to herself was that she had lost 50 pounds by her sister’s visit.

She was anxious for the big moment when her sister would first see her. She shifted from side to side uncomfortably as she waited. She was excited and nervous.

She bit her lip and looked at her watch again. Finally, the moment arrived.

“She just looked at me and screamed. She couldn’t stop saying, 'Oh my gosh!' and hugging me. I felt so happy and proud but mostly was relieved that she saw a difference. It made me realize that my weight loss was noticeable. Her dramatic reaction made it real for me.”

She didn’t stop at 50 pounds. She kept working and kept losing weight. After losing nearly 70 pounds, Tia looks great, feels strong and has permanently adopted all the healthy habits that brought her to this point.

“I have more energy than before and I can feel the strength in my body. Before taking yoga and muscle classes, I didn’t feel the strength in my muscles. Now I don’t want to miss a workout. I don’t want to give that up.”

Her accomplishment is incredible. She stresses the importance of setting small goals to get to the big goal. “It is overwhelming to think about losing 70 pounds but if you break it down to 5-6 pounds a month, that seems possible.”

Congratulations Tia! You are such an inspiration!

Had reached 97 kg when I decided I had to do something, I felt like reduced mobility, tired quickly, I lean hard. I was recommended a very publicized that gave amazing results many people and I decided to try it myself. There are pills that help burn fat very well and is also recommended by doctors as being very safe. In about two months I got to the weight of 68 kg and I stopped taking the pills. Now keep in shape by doing different sports easier when I have time. This product I recommend to everybody because I think it is the best.
