According to the National Wildlife Federation and the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, the allergy season is eary this year. In fact it is much earlier than it has been in past years.

This means that allergies are in full bloom much earlier than expected by chronic allergy sufferers.

The National Wildlife Federation and the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America have reported that this earlier-than-normal advent of spring, and the allergy season that is entwined with it, have shown up prematurely due to climate change.

Alongside the human misery triggered by allergy season, are the loss of job productivity, and the expense of medical treatment.

"Climate change also impacts allergies in another way; by the change in vegetation that results from warmer climates. Pines, firs and spruces may be replaced by the sort of trees which are more allergenic such as oak and hickory and hence trigger more allergic attacks."
