Hi, Anon. Welcome to EmpowHer; and thanks for your question.

I have to say that yes, you could have gotten pregnant. By having unprotected sex right in the middle of your cycle, your risk of getting pregnant is somewhat high. But remember, not everyone who has sex when they ovulate gets pregnant. In fact, some couples who are trying for a baby intentionally have sex then and it takes them several months. So it's not at all a sure thing. It's just that your chances are much higher than they are at other times of the month.

There's no way to tell for sure until you're late enough to take a home pregnancy test, which is generally about 1 to 5 days late. That's when most women have enough HCG (a pregnancy hormone) in their urine for the test to measure it.

Hang in there; I know it's stressful. If you are not pregnant, should you think about getting some birth control? Either condoms and/or the pill?
